Job summary

Merand Recruitment is seeking a Trade-tested Millwright to join a fast-paced FMCG/food processing facility in South Africa. You will be responsible for production equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and timely execution to keep lines running smoothly.

The role requires working on rotating shifts and weekends, with strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems. You will also support utilities, infrastructure, and maintenance stores, ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Trade-tested Millwright with 3–5 years maintenance experience in preferably a FMCG / food processing / packaging environment.
• Experience working with automated production equipment.
• Strong fault-finding ability across mechanical and electrical systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Trade-tested Millwright 3â5 years maintenance experience in preferably a FMCG / food processing /packaging environment
• Experience working with automated production equipment
• Strong fault-finding ability across mechanical and electrical systems

Experience working with:

• 3-phase motors
• Variable speed drives
• Pneumatic systems
• Industrial sensors
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and machine schematics
• Must be able to work rotational shifts and weekends
