Job summary

A well-established global leader in concrete products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure plant reliability and maintenance standards. Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a mass production environment and excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans. This role requires traveling to different plants and overseeing the maintenance workforce to improve plant efficiencies and uphold safety standards. Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years working experience in a mass production environment.
• Tile making experience will be advantageous.
• Sound physical health essential for traveling to other plants.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all personnel abide by OHS and company safety regulations.
• Oversee and train maintenance workforce to achieve overall plant efficiency.
• Ensure that maintenance of plant adheres to work maintenance objectives.
• Conduct root cause analysis for preventative maintenance.
• Foster good industrial relations with employees.

Skills

Qualified Artisan / Technician / Engineering background

Excellent verbal and written English and Afrikaans communication skills

Computer Literate (MS Office package)
