Job summary

MECS Africa is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Supervisor with hands-on experience in a process plant or similar large-scale industry. The role demands organizing, scheduling, and managing repairs, and developing maintenance strategies to maximise plant availability.

You will handle work order management via CMMS, ensure accurate spare parts identification, and specify required specialised tools for identified repairs.

Qualifications

• Mech Engineer degree with 3–5 years hands-on tools experience post qualification.
• Strong communication to ensure instructions are carried out and work completed.

Responsibilities

• Organise, schedule and manage repairs and maintenance strategy to ensure high plant availability.
• Oversee work orders and CMMS to track maintenance activities.
• Identify spare parts and specialised tools required for repairs.
