Job summary

Sasol is seeking experienced Operations personnel at Komatipoort to support maintenance of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. You will operate heavy equipment, collect field data, and ensure optimum productivity while adhering to safety standards.

Applicants should have Grade 12 with Maths/Science or N3 with Maths and Eng Science, plus an NQF 2 in Mechanical. 3+ years' related experience and a valid Code 10 license are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Maintain safety in a working environment and adhere to safety standards.
• Participate in root cause analyses and RCA feedback.
• Perform work as per planning and attend toolbox talks.
• Attend training courses to improve competency and skills.
• Support plant inspections and reliability improvements.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and collect field data.
• Identify faults using applicable methods to ensure equipment availability.
• Perform plant inspections and repairs to maintain reliability.
• Provide feedback to customers on work progress and safety.
• Spot improvement opportunities in own area and participate in RCAs.
