Job summary

Sasolburg, Free State-based Sasol is seeking a maintenance support role to assist artisans in mechanical/electro-mechanical tasks. You will help ensure safe task execution, manage tools, and handle basic maintenance activities in the Sasolburg/Natref operations.

This entry-level position requires up to 2 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a team. Training and growth opportunities are offered in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High School / School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2+ years relevant experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist, support and accompany artisans to ensure safe execution of tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Pack and manage tools and keep them in a safe, controlled area.
• Ensure safe and correct use of hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Prepare and arrange tools required to execute tasks as directed by artisans.
• Assist with installation and removal of machine components.
• Identify and ensure correct oil or lubricant for services.
• Drive and deliver samples as needed.
