Xelvin is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join a major European metal production site in North Holland, Netherlands. The role focuses on reliability, maintenance strategy and ongoing investments, with relocation support and a long-term career path.

The position requires a degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering and 4+ years of industrial experience. English proficiency and willingness to relocate are essential, with a 1–2 year contract and competitive monthly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering or similar.
• 4+ years in industrial environments such as steel, energy, utilities, mining, chemicals, manufacturing, food, packaging, heavy industry, oil & gas or automation.
• Experience in maintenance, reliability, asset management, projects, electrical installations or industrial power systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders and drive technical improvements.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability and performance of critical industrial installations.
• Develop maintenance and asset management strategies.
• Analyze failures and implement long-term technical improvements.
