AHG Health seeks a Maintenance Engineer in the medical equipment field based in Somerset West. You will assist with preventive and remedial maintenance scheduling, calibration, and fault analysis of critical devices while supporting the organization’s quality management system.

The ideal candidate holds a B-ENG in Mechatronic Engineering with 0–2 years’ experience and a willingness to learn ISO 13485 practices, with training provided.

Qualifications

• B-ENG (Mechatronic Engineering) with 0–2 years' work experience.
• Experience with medical equipment service and maintenance is beneficial.
• Awareness of ISO 13485 quality management system is advantageous.
• Ability to perform fault analysis on electrical/electronic systems.

Qualifications

Minimum educational and training requirements:

• B-ENG (Mechatronic Engineering) with 0-2 years' work experience.

Responsibilities

Tasks and responsibilities for this position include:

• Assisting with the scheduling of preventative maintenance of medical equipment.
• Assisting with the scheduling of remedial service of medical equipment.
• Assisting to maintain and improve the organization’s quality management system.
• Calibration of sensitive medical equipment.
• Fault analysis on medical equipment.
• Maintenance of medical equipment.
• Maintenance of measuring equipment
• Qualification and acceptance testing of medical equipment.
• Failure mode analysis.
• Design and development tasks.
• Assisting with procurement of supplies and parts.
