Xelvin is seeking Electrical and Instrumentation/Electrical Maintenance professionals for a long-term, relocation-enabled role in the Netherlands. The role focuses on reliability, asset management, and continuous improvement across large-scale electrical systems and critical installations.

You will engage with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project teams, driving technical improvements and supporting modernization projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field.
• 2+ years experience in industrial environments.
• Experience in maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, asset management, project engineering, electrical installations, or industrial power systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders and drive technical improvements.
• Fluent in Afrikaans (mandatory).
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands.

Are you a Maintenance Engineer who enjoys solving complex electrical technical challenges, improving industrial installations, and making a real impact on production reliability?

We are looking for Electrical Engineering professionals to join one of Europe's largest and most advanced metal production sites.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Improving the reliability and performance of critical industrial installations

Who We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Instrumentation / Electrical / Mechatronics / Industrial / Maintenance / Mechanical Engineering or other similar field
• 2+ years experience in industrial environments such as steel, energy, utilities, mining, chemicals, manufacturing, food, packaging, heavy industry, oil & gas or automation
• Experience in maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, asset management, project engineering, electrical installations, or industrial power systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders and drive technical improvements
• Fluent in Afrikaans (mandatory)
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands

We Offer:

• 1–2 year contract (40 hours/week) with the possibility of permanent employment
• Monthly gross salary: €4,357 - €6,000, depending on education and experience
• 25 paid vacation days + paid public holidays and great additional benefits
• Holiday allowance of 8.33%, paid annually in May
• Travel reimbursement: €0.23/km

Relocation Support:

• First housing arranged and upfront payment of rent/deposit if needed
• €1,500 – €3,000 net relocation bonus
• Pick-up on arrival and onboarding support (bank account, BSN registration, insurance, etc.)
• Work permit and visa sponsorship (if applicable)
• Team onboarding events and community support
