Job summary

G-Core Capital seeks a qualified Millwright to lead maintenance across our injection moulding and extrusion lines. You will apply electronics knowledge, circuit diagrams, and PLC expertise to support production start-ups, reliability, and continuous improvements.

You will supervise maintenance teams, plan preventive maintenance, manage spare parts, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949. Strong safety discipline and ability to collaborate with HQ and subsidiaries are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Millwright with relevant certification.
• Electronics knowledge and ability to read circuit diagrams.
• PLC knowledge and experience.
• 5-6 years in injection moulding machine maintenance and installation.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and internal systems.
• 3-5 years supervising maintenance staff.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Extrusion experience.

Responsibilities

• Support production with smooth machine start-up.
• Troubleshoot equipment, hydraulics, or mechanical systems.
• Resolve machine breakdowns, log incidents in Maintenance Connection.
• Develop preventative maintenance plans using historical data and trends.
• Make continuous improvements to machine performance.
• Develop and manage risk management to avoid major breakdowns with critical spare parts.
• Escalate to Production Manager any measure breakdowns to stop plant for a lengthy period.
• Coordinate with Headquarters and subsidiaries to receive best practices and deploy in TGSA.
• Understand new technologies to set up infrastructure and utilities for new technology installation.
• Follow 5S and safety protocols; maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Support ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Mentor millwright apprentices and maintenance technicians.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Meet KPI targets for the Maintenance Department.
• Report lost time and accidents/incidents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES [Maintenance]

• Support production in ensuring smooth machine start-up.
• Troubleshoot equipment, hydraulics, or other mechanical systems.
• Resolve machine breakdowns, identify fault, do root cause analysis and countermeasures with minimal downtime to production. See to it that all attended breakdowns are logged into Maintenance Connection System.
• Manage Maintenance Planning, analysing historical information and trends in order to develop Preventative Maintenance Plan, thereby preventing equipment failure.
• Make continuous improvements to improve machine performance.
• Develop and Manage Risk Management concept to avoid serious machine breakdowns by identifying critical spare parts.
• Report and Escalate to Production Manager any measure breakdowns to stop plant for a lengthy period.
• Establish link with Headquarters [HQ] and other subsidiaries to receive support and obtain best practices and deploy in TGSA.
• Understanding of new technologies in advance in order to set up infrastructure and utilities to support installation of new Technology.
• Perform all assigned duties with high degree of proficiency and take caution of personal safety as well as those around. Ensure to follow 5S principle to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Support requirements of Quality Management Systems i.e. ISO 9001, IATF 16949.
• Mentor millwright apprentices as per MERseta requirements, as well as Maintenance Technicians.
• Conduct performance reviews of the subordinates and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure that all KPI’s Targets are met for the Maintenance Department
• Report all lost time, minor and major accidents/incidents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES [Engineering]

• Finalize process plan as per internal requirements.
• Based on Process plan estimate the following: Capex calculation and support with the preparation for new capital approval from HQ; Tooling and jig requirement; optimum equipment utilization and sourcing and Manpower requirements.
• Setting of the required process in order to meet product requirements. [Quality; Cost and Delivery]
• Receive Technical standard from Headquarters and conduct internal verification or change point.

Maintenance Administration

• Development and submission of maintenance reports timeously i.e. breakdown analysis and downtime information.
• Develop work instructions for all preventative maintenance activities and repairs.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
• Spare Parts Management and as well as management reports.
• Champion Maintenance Connection System.

Customer

• Actively perform daily inspections of each facility, manage to reduce abnormal failures by performing daily inspections and maintenance on machines. Keep the manager informed to avoid delay.
