ROLE SUMMARY:

Reddam House Constantia is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Support Services Team. This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in their achievements is well organised and is comfortable working in a child-friendly environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of school functions and events.
• Maintain a high standard of work at all times.
• Participate in stock taking and ensure accurate record-keeping of equipment and supplies.
• Handle, maintain, and store all items correctly.
• Support the wider team in delivering efficient and effective service operations.
• Provide assistance to the cleaning team during school holidays or special events.
• Follow daily schedules and school policies diligently.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Understanding of Keeping Children Safe in Education and their responsibilities for Safeguarding
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations as they relate to the operation of maintenance of equipment and Materials
• Understanding of the School's ethos and values
• Understanding of school policies and willing and able to work within these
• Has a 'Can do attitude'
• Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Adaptable, quick-thinking, and professional in handling unexpected challenges.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order in the work environment.
• Previous experience in event setup or support services is an advantage, but not essential.
