Blue Pearl PTY is looking for an experienced Mainframe Systems Engineer / zOS Specialist to join our team in Brooklyn, Pretoria. In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations of the Mainframe infrastructure while maintaining z hardware and z/OS software environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Mainframe systems administration, third-party product support, and disaster recovery. Essential skills include supporting z/OS Operating Systems and a solid understanding of storage management.

Qualifications

• Strong experience supporting z/OS Operating Systems and related subsystems.
• Experience with installation and configuration of third-party z/OS products.
• Strong understanding of storage management environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation and support of the Mainframe environment.
• Implement, configure, maintain, and support z hardware and z/OS software.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and execution activities.
