Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As Machine Learning Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role. You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them.

You will not be training models; you will be building production systems on top of them, including agentic workflows, API integrations, and internal tools across our stack.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen).
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.
