Placements24 is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in Gauteng to lead data-informed assessments of program effectiveness. You will design M&E systems, collect and analyze data, and prepare performance reports to guide decision-making.

The role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least five years of M&E experience in non-profit or development contexts. Proficiency with SPSS, Stata, or R and data visualization is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or International Development.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation in the non-profit or development sector.
• Proven expertise in M&E frameworks, tools, and databases.
• Strong analytical and data handling skills with statistical software and visualization experience.
• Experience in qualitative data analysis and excellent report writing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement M&E plans for programs in Randburg, Gauteng.
• Develop data collection tools including surveys and interviews.
• Oversee data collection, entry, and cleaning for accuracy.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess outcomes and impact.
• Prepare regular M&E reports with findings and recommendations.
• Lead M&E workshops and training for staff and stakeholders.
• Support program proposals with M&E components.
