Placements24 is seeking a skilled Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for our client organization in Randburg, Gauteng. You will design, implement, and manage robust M&E frameworks across programs to measure progress, outcomes, and impact, and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or International Development.
• Minimum of 5 years of Monitoring and Evaluation experience in the non-profit or development sector.
• Proven expertise in developing M&E frameworks, tools, and databases.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SPSS, Stata, R and data visualization.
• Experience in qualitative data analysis techniques.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of project management principles.
• Understanding of Gauteng, particularly Randburg context, is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong commitment to ethical data collection and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement comprehensive M&E plans for programs in Randburg, Gauteng.
• Design data collection tools and methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and focus group guides.
• Oversee the collection, entry, and cleaning of program data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to assess program progress, outcomes, and impact.
• Prepare regular M&E reports, highlighting key findings, lessons learned, and recommendations for program improvement.
• Facilitate M&E workshops and training sessions for program staff and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of program proposals by incorporating M&E components.
• Ensure data quality assurance and integrity throughout the M&E process.
• Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in M&E within development and humanitarian sectors.
• Collaborate with program teams to integrate M&E findings into program design and implementation.
