African Echoes Recruitment invites applications for a Chef de Partie at a luxury lodge in the Greater Addo area. You will cook to lodge standards and support daily kitchen service.

The role requires flawless food preparation, knowledge of dietary requirements, ability to work under pressure, weekends and public holidays, and a hands-on approach in a remote lodge environment with live-in accommodation and meals provided.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar kitchen position.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Understanding of luxury hospitality and presentation standards.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals to lodge standards.
• Assist with daily kitchen preparation and service.
• Maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
• Assist with breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• Prepare meals for special occasions and guest requests.
• Cater for dietary requirements as required.
• Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
• Follow food safety and health standards.
• Assist with stock rotation, storage and portion control.
• Minimise food wastage.
• Keep workstations clean and organised.
• Assist senior chefs with menu preparation and service.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used correctly.
• Work closely with the kitchen and lodge teams.
• Remain hands-on and assist wherever required.
