Job summary

Phoenix Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker for a Luxury Hotel in the Kameeldrift area to ensure effective, safe and timely maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment to support an upmarket guest experience and uninterrupted operations.

The role requires a Matric, a relevant trade certificate, a valid driver’s license, and 3–5 years’ multi-skilled maintenance experience in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Matric required; trade certificate/qualifications desirable.
• Short courses in HSE or basic electrical/plumbing maintenance advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport essential.
• 3–5 years’ general maintenance experience in hospitality or similar.
• Proven ability to perform multi-skilled tasks across at least two trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day facilities and equipment across all hotel areas.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from management.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address needs proactively.
• Ensure all work complies with safety policies and hotel standards.
• Collaborate with team members on projects and operations.
