Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on logistics and supply chain operations.
• Proven track record of managing complex optimization projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and international trade.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6) and SCM tools (WMS, TMS).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working within the North West region is advantageous.
• Must be legally authorized to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans for logistics and supply chain optimization initiatives.
• Analyze current supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
• Coordinate with internal departments (warehousing, transportation, procurement) and external stakeholders.
• Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Track project milestones, monitor performance metrics, and report on progress to senior management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure business continuity.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices and company policies throughout project lifecycles.
