Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive optimization initiatives from its East London hub. The role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service delivery across the network, with end-to-end project execution including process improvements and new technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong logistics background, extensive project management experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in logistics/supply chain.
• Experience with process improvement, tech implementations, or network optimization.
• Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects focused on logistics and supply chain optimization.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies and systems within the supply chain.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with operational teams, IT, and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct data analysis to support project objectives and measure performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout project execution.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
