Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Logistics Process Improvement Specialist for a hybrid role in Midrand, Gauteng, SA. You will identify inefficiencies, streamline operations, and apply Lean and Six Sigma to logistics processes.

The role requires 5 years in logistics or SCM with 3 years in process improvement; you will collaborate with warehouse, transportation and IT teams, develop KPIs, and train staff on new processes. Remote flexibility is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, IE, or related field.
• 5+ years in logistics or supply chain; 3+ years in process improvement.
• Proven Lean/Six Sigma experience and data interpretation skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Design and implement improved processes to cut costs and improve service.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure impact of improvements.
• Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, and IT teams.
• Create training materials and deliver training on new processes.
• Document changes and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Prepare management reports on project status and impact.
