Our client, a prominent leader in the Logistics & Warehousing sector, is seeking an analytical and innovative Logistics Planning & Optimization Analyst to join their team. This hybrid role offers a blend of remote work flexibility and in-office collaboration at their facility in Randburg, Gauteng . The primary focus of this position is to analyze complex logistics data, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies to optimize transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain principles, and the ability to translate data into tangible improvements. This is a key role for driving efficiency in a complex operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current logistics operations, including transportation routes, warehouse layouts, and inventory strategies.
• Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement across the supply chain.
• Develop and implement optimized logistics plans, including network design and routing strategies.
• Utilize advanced analytical tools and modeling techniques to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Procurement, Sales) to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
• Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings, recommendations, and the impact of implemented changes.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to logistics software and systems.

Requirements
