Placements24 is partnering with a prominent national logistics provider to recruit a Logistics Planner. The role focuses on regional distribution network optimization, analyzing routes, optimizing schedules, and collaborating with carriers, all from a remote location connected to Upington, Northern Cape.

You will forecast demand with planning software, monitor costs and carrier performance, and work with warehousing and customer service to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field.
• 3–5 years in logistics planning or supply chain analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data analysis proficiency.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and planning software.
• Excellent knowledge of transport modes, regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related software.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience in Northern Cape logistics is a plus.
