Job summary

The Recruitment Pig in Gauteng is seeking a seasoned logistics professional to lead outbound distribution from a modern, custom-built facility. You will use your practical freight experience to streamline dispatches to branches and clients nationwide, driving customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate schedules, track shipments, and ensure transport compliance while collaborating with warehouse and sales teams to keep goods moving quickly and safely.

Qualifications

• Experience managing outbound freight and fleet operations.
• Experience in industrial/distribution sectors like hardware/engineering.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software and enterprise dispatch systems.
• Qualification in Logistics or Road Transport is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SA road transport safety regulations and freight routing.
• Strong problem-solving under daily dispatch deadlines.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-player mindset.

What You Need to Apply

• Proven experience managing outbound freight, vehicle fleets, and distribution warehouse operations.

• A recognized qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Road Transport is advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of South African road transport safety regulations and freight route planning.
