Placements24 is seeking a proactive Logistics and Distribution Supervisor to manage its Sandton operations. You will lead a team, oversee inbound receiving through outbound shipping, and drive productivity and accuracy with a focus on safety.

You will supervise daily activities, optimize space, monitor KPIs, and ensure seamless cross-department coordination to support the company’s supply chain goals. This is an on-site role with opportunities for growth.

You will lead a team of dedicated logistics personnel, oversee daily operations, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and accuracy. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics and distribution activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.


• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing training, performance management, and support.


• Ensure efficient use of warehouse space and resources to optimize inventory flow and storage.


• Implement and enforce all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.


• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measures to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Supervisor , Distribution Supervisor, or similar role.
