Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Logistics Operations Analyst to optimize transportation, warehousing, and inventory processes. The role focuses on collecting, cleaning, and interpreting large datasets to identify inefficiencies and drive data-informed decisions.

The successful candidate will develop KPIs, dashboards, and actionable insights, collaborating with operations, procurement, and IT to ensure data integrity and effective systems in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics analysis, operations research, or a similar analytical role within the supply chain.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables), SQL, and ideally data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Identify operational inefficiencies, cost drivers, and opportunities for process improvement within the logistics network.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and performance dashboards to monitor operational effectiveness.
• Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.
• Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies and initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and IT departments to ensure data integrity and system effectiveness.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed operational changes and investments.
• Support the selection and implementation of new logistics technologies and software solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies in all analytical work.
