Placements24 is seeking a Logistics Data Analyst to transform raw logistics data into actionable insights that drive operational improvements, cost reductions, and better decision-making across a global supply chain. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Logistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on logistics or supply chain.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Excellent understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
• Experience working in a hybrid work environment.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets related to logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in supply chain performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key logistics metrics and performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the logistics network based on data analysis.
• Collaborate with logistics managers and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Develop predictive models to forecast transportation costs, delivery times, and inventory needs.
• Evaluate the performance of carriers and logistics providers based on established metrics.
• Support the implementation of new logistics technologies and systems by providing data analysis and insights.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all logistics reporting.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new analytical tools and techniques.
