Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Local Courier Driver to manage express parcel deliveries in and around Tembisa, Gauteng. You will collect and deliver parcels, maintain the integrity of goods, and provide a positive customer experience at every drop-off point.

The role requires a valid Code B+ driver's license, at least 2 years' delivery experience, familiarity with the Tembisa area, good physical condition, and strong navigation, time management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Code B or higher).
• At least 2 years' experience in driving or delivery.
• Familiar with the Tembisa, Gauteng area and surrounding routes.
• Good physical condition to handle parcels of various sizes and weights.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• A reliable smartphone for navigation and scanning applications.
• Must possess a valid South African ID or work permit.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a light commercial vehicle for parcel collection and delivery in and around Tembisa.
• Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency.
