Job summary

Omnia Group is seeking a Loader in Fochville, Gauteng, South Africa to load orders, receive goods and manage magazine storage safely. You will work under the Warehouse Supervisor and support FIFO, cycle counts, and housekeeping in the yard.

Minimum Grade 12 with 1 year warehouse and 1 year manufacturing experience is required. Forklift experience is advantageous and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• 1 year demonstrated experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• To perform all magazine activities in compliance with standard operating procedures, regulation and legislation (receiving, put-away, picking, loading and cycle counts).
• To identify and report any concerns and/or issues pertaining to the status of inventory to relevant supervisor.
• To complete inventory cycle counts as per the schedule provided by the Stock Controller and investigate all discrepancies.
• To position and transfer stock in a magazine as per the instructions provided by supervisory staff in order to ensure to efficient use of space (ensure floor to system matching), and FIFO management of stock.
• To perform effective housekeeping of the magazine and yard so that these areas are neat, tidy, safe and comply with all SHERQ and legislative requirements

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS (PURPOSE)
