Job summary

Lexdan Select is assisting a major Oil & Gas company in Johannesburg to recruit a Supply Chain & Logistics Manager. The role covers end-to-end LNG supply chain from sourcing to delivery, coordinating LNG suppliers, shipping, ports, and related infrastructure.

You will plan transport routes, manage budgets, and drive readiness across suppliers and partners, ensuring efficient operations from project start to post-commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering preferred or related qualifications.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in industrial supply chains, logistics, energy, gas, fuels, chemicals, mining, or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven experience coordinating multiple suppliers, contractors, and operational locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the end-to-end LNG supply chain from international sourcing through to final customer delivery.
• Coordinate LNG suppliers, shipping schedules, port operations, ISO container movements, and logistics providers.
• Plan transport routes, fleet requirements, delivery schedules, and inventory/capacity models to ensure reliable supply.
• Determine customer-site storage, regasification, metering, and related infrastructure requirements.
• Prepare RFQs and coordinate suppliers, contractors, equipment installations, and commissioning activities.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, risk registers, action plans, and cost-control processes.
• Drive operational readiness by aligning suppliers, logistics partners, contractors, ports, and customer sites ahead of supply commencement.
• Oversee and manage the full supply chain once projects become operational.
