Job summary

The Capital Hotels & Apartments is seeking a Linen Controller to lead the Linen and Uniform Department at our Ballito resort. You will oversee stock levels, purchasing, ordering and ensure quality control across departments relying on linen and uniforms.

Ideal candidates bring Matric and a Hospitality Management qualification with 1–3 years in linen control, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to improving efficiency while delivering top guest service in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

Matric and hospitality management qualification or equivalent.
1–3 years Linen Controller experience.
Computer literacy with Excel (intermediate to advanced), Word and emails.
Excellent filling skills and attention to detail.
Hands-on problem-solving and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
Ability to drive change and seek operational efficiencies.
Customer service oriented with good communication and active listening.

Responsibilities

The Linen Controller is responsible for overall management of the Linen and Uniform Department.
Responsibilities include linen stock management, purchasing, ordering, and quality control for all departments using linen, uniforms and supplies throughout the resort.
