Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and crew uniforms.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment.
• Inspect linens for stains and damages, and report any issues to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory of linens and supplies, and place orders as needed.
• Ensure that all laundry areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-stocked at all times.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a hygienic working environment.
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed, such as cleaning public areas and guest cabins.
