Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience driving 6x4 Truck Tractors (e.g., Scania, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, MAN)
• Valid Code 14 Driver’s License and PDP
• Clear criminal and driving record
• South African citizen with a valid SA ID
• Minimum of 3 contactable references, fully vetted

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty vehicles to transport freight between hubs and key distribution points
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while adhering to road laws and company protocols
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for readiness and roadworthiness
• Secure cargo to prevent shifting, loss, or damage during transit
• Maintain mileage and hours logs
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations and route schedules
• Communicate with dispatchers and report delays or incidents promptly
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and fault troubleshooting
