Job summary

Time Personnel is seeking an experienced Warehouse/Procurement Manager to oversee lighting store and warehouse operations in South Africa. You will manage sourcing, quotations, pricing, and purchase orders while developing strong supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing and reliable supply.

You will monitor stock levels, forecast needs, and ensure accurate ERP recording. Lead a team to optimize processes, drive efficiency, and meet safety and quality standards in collaboration

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 5 years in warehouse, stores or procurement management.
• A qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement or Warehouse Management is advantageous.
• Experience with ERP or inventory systems is essential.
• Strong negotiation, purchasing and supplier relationship skills.
• Leadership experience to motivate and manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day operations of the lighting store and warehouse.
• Manage procurement activities including sourcing, quotations, pricing and PO placement.
• Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing and reliable supply.
• Monitor inventory, forecast purchasing, prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure goods are received, checked and recorded accurately in ERP.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff to meet objectives.
• Improve warehouse and procurement processes to maximise efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, policies and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure product availability.
