Job summary

Rosebank College invites applications for a lecturer to teach across designated modules and engage students for assessments. You will manage resources, update the learning management system, and support the Central Academic Team in monitoring outcomes.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Education Honours, 2–3 years lecturing experience, and an academic transcript. Classes run 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday; market-related salary. EE and SA candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education Honours required; school teaching experience in component subjects preferred.
• 2–3 years lecturing or formal tutoring.
• 1–3 years industry-specific experience advantageous.
• One NQF level higher than the qualification being taught.
• Copy of academic transcript required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module requirements.
• Manage academic resources and consult with the Information Centre.
• Update the learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Prepare students for assessments and develop assessments in line with academic briefs.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions; escalate as needed.
• Attend academic meetings across faculties and reflect on module results.
