Job summary

You will handle stock loading, merchandising, price labelling, and housekeeping within your area, ensuring efficient service and compliance with safety standards. The role requires shift work, weekend and public holiday availability, and a valid forklift license.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or minimum of 1 year work related experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be physically fit to operate a forklift.
• Must have a valid forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in the store and assist customers with product queries.
• Load customer purchases and ensure safe handling to avoid damage.
• Merchandise stock and label prices per store layout and planograms.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in designated area.
• Be certified in product knowledge and stay available in aisle of responsibility.
• Adhere to safety requirements and report forklift faults promptly.
