Guardrisk seeks a skilled professional to manage a portfolio of liability claims and provide ad hoc technical advice to stakeholders. You will handle claims, settlements, and outsourced services while maintaining strict SLAs and clear communication with clients and brokers.

The role requires strong knowledge of liability claims and litigation, with 5+ years of relevant experience in either a legal practice or insurance liability environment.

Qualifikationen

• Matric/Grade 12 completed.
• Law degree preferred but not mandatory, depending on experience in short-term insurance.
• 60 FAIS Credits required.
• Computer literacy including Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Insurance qualification preferable.
• RE qualification desirable.

Aufgaben

• Day to day reporting to Team Leader.
• Handle liability claims in accordance with procedures.
• Facilitate and manage outsourced liability claims.
• Enter settlements within SLAs / mandates.
• Negotiate settlements with third parties and attorneys.
• Provide technical advice on litigated matters.
• Provide clients/brokers with timely feedback on claims progress.
• Ensure claims diary system is maintained and adhered to.
