Job summary

Placements24 in George, Western Cape, seeks a dedicated Leisure Facility Manager to lead our sports and leisure complex. You will oversee daily operations, optimize member experience, and drive safety and revenue growth in a hybrid role balancing on-site leadership with strategic planning.

The ideal candidate brings proven facility management experience in leisure or sports, strong leadership, budgeting skills, and excellent communication to mentor staff and partner with marketing and events

Qualifications

Experience leading leisure or sports facilities.
Strong leadership and staff management abilities.
Solid budgeting and financial planning skills.
Excellent communication and customer service.
Ability to work in a hybrid on-site/remote arrangement.
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the leisure facility, ensuring safety and high service standards.
Lead and mentor facility staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
Develop strategic plans to increase facility usage, member satisfaction, and revenue.
Manage budgets and control expenditures to meet financial targets.
Coordinate with marketing and events teams to promote programs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and improve facility infrastructure and equipment.
