Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a friendly Leisure Centre Attendant to join our community-focused facility in Stellenbosch. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing information and assistance while ensuring a welcoming environment.

The role includes daily checks of gym, pool, and public areas, with tasks like event setup and basic admin duties. You should have a high school diploma and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and assist with inquiries about facility services and programs.
• Keep leisure centre areas clean and orderly, including gyms, pools, and common spaces.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment for events and activities.
• Enforce safety rules and report any concerns for the facility’s safety.
• Operate reception, manage bookings, and handle basic administrative tasks.
• Respond to emergencies according to established protocols.
