Job summary

Scytale, a global AI-powered leader in trust and compliance, is seeking a proactive Legal Specialist to advise on data protection and regulatory matters across functions.

You will partner with sales, product, compliance and operations, draft and review agreements, and help ensure internal policies are followed, while staying aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to independently draft, negotiate, and review legal agreements.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Business acumen to balance legal requirements with company objectives.
• An interest in data protection law and information technology law.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice on commercial, corporate, and general legal matters.
• Help identify and assess legal risks and escalation where needed.
• Partner with sales, product, compliance, and operations teams to support business initiatives.
• Help ensure contracts follow internal policies and processes.
• Support legal aspects of compliance with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Assist with data protection and privacy-related matters.
