• Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• Admission as an attorney or advocate in South Africa.
• Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in corporate law.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, company law, and corporate governance principles.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Experience with hybrid work arrangements and self-management.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance matters, board resolutions, and shareholder relations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on complex issues.
• Manage external legal counsel when necessary.
