Job summary

IIE Rosebank International, part of the ADvTECH Group, invites applications for an academic lecturer role. The position involves delivering lectures, preparing assessments, tracking module progress, and supporting students across multiple faculties.

You will collaborate with the Central Academic Team and Programme Coordinator to assess module performance and identify at-risk modules. Classes run 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Honours in logistics or supply chain (NQF Level 8).
• 2 to 3 years Lecturing or Formal Tutoring.
• 1 to 3 years of industry-specific experience.
• Knowledge of SA higher education systems and regulatory framework.
• Understanding of Teaching and Learning theory and interventions.
• Ability to provide student support services.
• Experience with digitalized academic platforms.
• Ability to work in a changing environment and adhere to regulations.
• Strong time management and deadline orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module requirements.
• Update LMS and provide feedback to students.
• Support Programme Coordinator with results analysis.
• Attend academic meetings across faculties.
• Develop teaching-learning materials for module outcomes.
• Assist with student registration and orientation as required.
