Job summary

Sasol invites applications for an apprentice position to train and develop into a qualified Millwright under SETA (QCTO) and NAMB guidelines. The program covers electrical and mechanical training, maintenance of underground production equipment, and safety prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop to become a qualified Millwright according to SETA (QCTO) and NAMB requirements.
• Participate in electrical and mechanical training, maintenance of underground production equipment, safety prerequisites, and housekeeping.

Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (6 subjects) with 40% in Technical Mathematics/Mathematics, English, Technical/Physical Science

N3 National Senior Certificate (6 subjects) with 40% in Mathematics, Engineering Science, Business English/Communications

Purpose of the job

As an apprentice, you will train and develop to become a qualified Millwright according to the requirements of the relevant SETA (QCTO) and National Artisan Moderation Board (NAMB).

Qualifications

A completed Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (6 Subjects) with a minimum pass of 40% in:

• Technical Mathematics/Mathematics
• English
• Technical/Physical Science

and/or

A completed N3 National Senior Certificate (6 Subjects) with a minimum pass of 40% in:

• Mathematics
• Engineering Science
• Business English/Communications

Your training will include the following
