Placements24 is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Engineer for our East London plant to optimise production processes and drive efficiency. You will leverage Lean tools, SOP development, and SPC to improve quality and reduce waste in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years in manufacturing operations, and strong analytical skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations or process engineering.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, VSM) is essential.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) and SPC.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies to reduce waste and optimise workflow.
• Troubleshoot production issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Monitor production performance metrics and identify opportunities for enhancing productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with production teams, maintenance, and quality assurance to ensure operational goals are met.
• Participate in the implementation of new equipment and process technologies.
• Conduct process capability studies and statistical process control (SPC).
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the production floor.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and contribute to budget adherence in East London.
