Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in VFX animation and motion graphics
• 2+ years in lead or supervisory role
• Portfolio of high-quality VFX/motion graphics work
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of VFX animators, providing creative direction and technical guidance.
• Develop and execute visually compelling motion graphics and visual effects sequences.
• Collaborate with directors, art directors, and other stakeholders to interpret and realize project requirements.
• Create high-quality 2D and 3D animations, particle effects, and simulations.
• Ensure technical feasibility and optimize assets for various delivery platforms.
• Manage project timelines and resources for the animation department.
• Review and provide feedback on team members' work, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends, software, and techniques in VFX and motion graphics.

• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with particle systems, fluid simulations, and compositing.
• Proven ability to manage projects, delegate tasks, and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A robust portfolio demonstrating a wide range of high-quality VFX and motion graphics work.
