Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architecture or Urban Planning.
• 10+ years of experience in urban design, master planning, and leadership.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale urban development projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of South African planning legislation and building codes.
• Proficiency in urban planning software and 3D modeling tools.
• Exceptional public speaking, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee master planning projects for urban and regional development.
• Lead design charrettes and workshops involving multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure designs adhere to urban design principles, sustainability goals, and regulatory frameworks in Pretoria.
• Manage project teams, budgets, and timelines for large‑scale urban projects.
• Liaise with city planners, developers, and consultants to gain approvals and facilitate project implementation.
• Create compelling visualisations and presentations to communicate complex urban design concepts.
• Lead the design process from concept to completion for large‑scale architectural projects.
