Job summary

Forvis Mazars in South Africa seeks an experienced Transfer Pricing specialist to independently lead TP assignments in Johannesburg or Cape Town offices. You will liaise with clients, perform advanced analyses and deliver compliant TP reports and opinions.

Role requires 3–5 years of client-facing TP experience, strong knowledge of OECD guidelines and SA TP rules, and proven leadership and business development capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, law or economics with a postgraduate tax qualification.
• 3–5 years of client-facing tax consulting experience, with emphasis on transfer pricing.
• Solid knowledge of OECD TP guidelines and SA TP regulations.
• Ability to manage people and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee transfer pricing studies for global compliance.
• Develop TP policies for multinational clients.
• Perform advanced analysis using economic, financial and industry data.
• Lead high-level discovery interviews to inform TP frameworks.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and direct reports.
• Build client relationships and drive business development.
• Champion initiatives aligning with evolving tax regulations.
• Deliver UCX by ensuring quality, responsiveness and innovation.
