The role requires extensive interactive audio experience, proficiency with main DAWs and middleware, and strong leadership and communication skills within a dispersed team.

You will be responsible for conceptualizing, implementing, and polishing all sound elements, from ambient environments and special effects to user interface sounds and voiceovers, ensuring an immersive and cohesive auditory experience. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and mixing of all sound effects, ambient audio, and music within interactive projects.
• Develop and maintain the audio vision and technical requirements for projects, ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms.
• Collaborate closely with game designers, programmers, and other stakeholders to integrate audio seamlessly into gameplay and user experiences.
• Record, edit, and process audio assets, utilizing a wide range of sound design techniques and tools.
• Mentor and guide junior sound designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a positive and productive remote working environment.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Sound Designer , with a significant portion focused on interactive media (games, VR/AR experiences, interactive installations).
• Proficiency with industry-standard Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Reaper, or Cubase, and audio middleware like Wwise or FMOD.
• Strong understanding of audio signal flow, mixing techniques, and psychoacoustics relevant to interactive experiences.
• Experience with field recording, foley, and synthesis for creating unique sound effects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage projects and teams remotely.
