Job summary

Placements24 seeks a proactive Lead Site Engineer to supervise the technical execution of civil infrastructure projects in Tembisa and Gauteng. You will lead a team of site engineers, review drawings for constructability, ensure quality control, and coordinate materials procurement while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, at least 6 years of relevant site experience, and a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 6 years of relevant Site Engineer experience in civil infrastructure.
Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct site engineers and technical staff to ensure efficient project execution.
Review architectural and engineering drawings for constructability and compliance.
Implement and monitor quality control throughout construction.
Manage procurement and delivery of construction materials for timely availability.
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues with practical solutions.
Prepare technical reports and site documentation accurately and promptly.
