Job summary

DP World Durban is seeking an experienced driver training specialist to assess and train drivers in alignment with SOPs and service level agreements. You will plan, deliver, and evaluate training programs to improve performance and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and up to 5 years in a similar environment with leadership experience, plus knowledge of relevant regulations. You will generate training reports and contribute to ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (NQF 7) or equivalent.
• Up to 5 years of experience in a similar environment with at least 2 years’ tactical leadership or specialist experience.
• Basic legislation and regulations knowledge.
• Intermediate administration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver work activities according to set standards to satisfy customers.
• Attend learning initiatives to improve work quality and skills.
• Own and live up to the company values.
• Execute work according to SOPs and service levels.
• Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes.
• Plan and organise own tasks to meet performance targets and SOP adherence.
• Compile and submit driver training reports.
• Evaluate drivers and provide practical and theoretical training.
• Maximise financial performance and provide continuous feedback to support decision making.
