You will lead with advanced culinary skills, mentor staff, and ensure HACCP compliance while thriving in a remote luxury hospitality environment with a flexible shift roster.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a recognized professional culinary certificate, diploma, or degree.
• 4-6 years of professional kitchen experience with 1-2 years as Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in luxury settings.
• Strong culinary skills across all sections with leadership abilities.
• Experience in remote luxury hospitality and flexible shift rosters.
• Excellent communication, calm under pressure, reliable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and run shifts when needed.
• Maintain peak flavor profiles and plating aesthetics across breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner services.
• Oversee bush & boma events including multi-course dining, open-fire setups, and wilderness picnics.
• Support stock takes, ordering, receiving, and tight portion control to optimize food costs and reduce waste.
• Mentor and manage the kitchen brigade to foster a collaborative, disciplined team culture.
• Strictly enforce HACCP compliance and hygiene standards across all kitchen sections.
