Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 3 years in lead/senior capacity.
• Proven experience in residential construction projects.
• Expert knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and standard measurement techniques.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, tender, and deliver bills of quantities (BoQ).
• Manage and control project budgets from inception to completion.
• Undertake cost analysis for selected projects and provide cost reports.
• Advise on procurement strategy and contract administration.
• Negotiate and agree on costs and contracts with vendors and contractors.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to define scope and objectives.
